In today's edition of articles-that-sound-academic-and-boring-but-are-actually-really-cool, here's a bajillion-word interview on media theory with multihyphenate Marshall McLuhan. Today would have been his 100th birthday! It's sort of eerie how relevant his 42-year-old observations are. (Also, how eloquent he is in spoken conversation. Seriously, no one does that.)

I'm a little late to this, but I think it's one of the more sweeping your-brain-on-the-Internet pieces I've seen. Don't watch it before bed, because apparently that messes with your melatonin. (Sigh.)
